The Many Facets of the MSP

The Maryland State Police is currently processing applicants for the following positions:


Trooper - (for applicants who are at least 20 and 6 months in age)
Trooper Medic - (applicants for Trooper position with medic qualifications may be eligible for the Trooper Medic)
Contractual Trooper - (for eligible retired Maryland State Troopers ONLY)
Cadet - (for applicants who are at least 17 but no older than 20 in age)
Aviation Cadet - (applicants for Cadet position with medic qualifications may be eligible for the Aviation Cadet)
Explorer - (A volunteer/unpaid position for potential future cadet applicants who are at least 14 but no older than 18)
